Hi, I'm Hope.
Welcome to my little corner of the world.
I spent over 18 years in the corporate book world. I loved the books, but eventually, the corporate side of things just didn't fit anymore. I wanted something more personal, more connected, and more... me.
That's how A Bit of Earth was born. I wanted to create a space that felt entirely anti-corporate, a place where things are a little eclectic, a little whimsical, and where you can always find something unexpected.
Choosing the Flint Farmers' Market for my shop wasn't an accident. I believe deeply in Flint's revival. This market is the heartbeat of our community. I love the energy here, the people, and the way it brings everyone together.
My biggest mission? Bringing younger generations into these local spaces. When we show our youth the value of local community, art, and shared spaces, we're building the future of our city.
So whether you're looking for a record to spin, a vintage piece with a story, or just something that catches your eye and won't let go, I'm so glad you're here.
